Good morning!

The best way to get yourself out of bed in the morning is, if a freshly pressed juice is waiting in the fridge for you.

Since I prefer to sleep 30 min longer, in the morning, instead of waking up to prepare breakfast and it often happened in the past that I had no time for breakfast at work (which is not very healthy because breakfast is the most important meal), Natan and I figured out a way to get our sleep and the healthy breakfast and we want to share with you how.

Smoothies for breakfast! Not only because they are super tasty, but also because they are quick and easy to prepare, improve digestion, give you your daily dosis of fruits and vegetables, strengthen your immune system, reduce cravings and give you energy to start the day.

Our favorite smoothie consists of three ingredients: apples, carrots and basil. We use a juicer and blender to prepare it. Like I said earlier, it’s not rocket science to prepare it. Only thing to do is to wash the fruits and vegetables, cut them a bit so they fit into the juicer, throw them into the juicer, and if you want, blend the freshly pressed juice with the basil for some seconds.

It takes around 5-10 minutes and you can take it with you to work/school or drink it on the way.
